A committee, to be appointed by Uitzicht, of three experts will decide whether your request for a subsidy meets the types of research and preconditions and thus qualifies for UitZicht. If this is not the case, the request will be returned. This committee also appoints the scientific experts (reviewers).

Three reviewers evaluate the scientific quality of your request.

A panel from Viziris evaluates the practical relevance of your request from the perspective of people with visual impairment.

There is an opportunity to give a written reaction to the evaluations in March.

Your subsidy request, the evaluations and your reaction will be sent to the funds of your choice. They examine whether your request suits their own purposes and policies. In most cases they draw up a shortlist containing the applications to be rewarded and the concerning amounts. 

At the end of May there is a coordination meeting attended by most of the funds. The main goal of this meeting is to avoid overfunding.

After this meeting the separate funds will make their final decision.

The individual funds will inform you whether you application is being honoured and up to which amount in June.

When the number of reviewers is more than 25, their names will be published on this website. The members of the panel from Viziris remain anonymous.
