Preconditions

Pre-subsidygrant preconditions

	Not later than 15 January 2012 you may submit your subsidy request digitally by means of the requestform or pilot-requestform on this site. A signed hard-copy should be sent to Uitzicht before 20 January 2012 by mail. Please send your request (and reports) only as an MS Word document (.doc extension), as pdf-files are not as accessible for the computer applications for the visual impaired.
	The research must comply with the types of research.
	A request must be submitted in English, except for section C Summary of the research for laymen, which has to be written mandatory in Dutch (and preferably also in English). A request for a pilot-study in general has to be in Dutch (see pilot-requestform).
	The requested amount may not exceed Euro 250.000, or Euro 75.000 for a pilot-study.
	The requester is a natural person, allied to an institution or university having its seat in the Netherlands. It is also the requester who conducts correspondence with the fund(s).
	The research should basically start within 12 months after the subsidy grant.

Post-subsidygrant preconditions

	Before you ask the funds that granted you a subsidy to pay, you must inform them that the funding of the whole project has been completed.
	Each year progress- and final reports should be sent spontaneously to the secretarial office of Uitzicht, before March 1, by means of the Progressreport form. The progress reports concerning research that has been started after July 1 should be handed in before March 1 of the second next calender year.
	The final report (including a financial statement) should be sent to the secretarial office of Uitzicht within 6 months after terminations of the study and if possible before March 1.
	Before December 31 of the year of granding, you must inform the funds about the financial status of your study: Did you get the needed fundings or are you still occupied with collecting them? When you do not inform before 31th of December automatically al the granded subsidies are gone/cancelled.
	You can never request for subsidy for the same research more than twice through UitZicht.
	In publications that have been realised by contributions of foundations participating in UitZicht you may use the following text: The author was supported by the following foundations: (names), that contributed through UitZicht. The funding organizations had no role in the design or conduct of this research.
